Toddlers between 16-30 months have an increased ability to influence their environment in various ways. They use verbal language and physical actions to get more of their needs or wants, ultimately enhancing their overall development. Toddlers are keen on finding new ways to assert themselves and become more independent while receiving reassurance and support from those who join them in their adventures.
